Acknowledgement to Country

Naa Marni.

We would like to acknowledge that the land we meet on today is the traditional lands for the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country.

We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.

We pay our respect to elders past, present and future.

Leadership Team Welcome

Welcome to McLaren Vale Primary School, nestled between the rolling hills of the lower Mount Lofty Ranges, adjacent to some of South Australia’s best beaches and coastline and in the heart of the well renowned and beautiful McLaren Vale wine region. McLaren Vale Primary School is on Kaurna Land.

McLaren Vale Primary School has a reputation for being one of the best schools in the region. This success is built on a strong and active school community of students, parents, caregivers and educators, who all value the same high standards of education and creative and intellectual endeavour.

We have a passionate and committed school community with a student enrolment of approximately 520 students in 19 classes across Reception to Year 6.

Our students are provided with an engaging, diverse and rigorous teaching and learning program by a passionate, dedicated and exceptional staff team consisting of a leadership team of 3, a teaching staff of 32 and a school support team of 22.

We work hard together to provide every child with optimal learning conditions to be able to successfully engage in their learning and achieve their potential. Please explore our website to find out more about our school and how we work to achieve this.

We see families as partners in our work and hope you will become very much part of our community and fully involved in your child’s achievements. We look forward to working with you to provide the best possible education for your child in our care. We look forward to meeting you and sharing with you our passion for providing our students with every opportunity to succeed academically, socially, physically and emotionally.
